Scouts offers a progression through the sections from 4 to 24 years old, and 1st Pudsey Scout Group which meets at Pudsey Parish Church offers Fun & Friendship, and outdoor activities & challenges

Every week, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities
Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.
Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme. Being a Beaver is all about growing and learning in small but mighty ways. Here are some of the things you’ll get up to with your new friends.
Going to Beavers is very different from going to school. Instead of learning from books, you’ll figure the world out by exploring, playing and doing.
You’re guaranteed to have plenty of adventures on near to where you live, because being a Beaver is all about making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are.

– for 8 to 10.5 years old
Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Sixes to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities.
Cubs learn by doing, and so will you. Some of the skills you develop will be practical, like knowing how to cook a delicious meal or give someone first aid. Others will allow you to become a master at your chosen hobby or help you to succeed in whichever job you decide to do when you grow up.
But the most important skills you’ll learn at Cubs are the ones that will make you feel confident and happy in your own skin. We call these character skills

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout patrols to conquer the small task of changing the world.
Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, building on skills you have already acquired, wherever and whoever you are.
Alongside your new friends, you’ll master the skills that’ll help you weather the storms of life and try things you’d never get the chance to do at home or at school – working with trained volunteers to achieve whatever you set your mind to.

Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts have the opportunity to learn new skills supported by adult helper/volunteers. You too can learn new skills and have a place to belong. There are many ways in which you can help out, using your skills from your workplace or hobby, becoming a Trustee, or just giving an hour from time to time.
